I invite you all to participate in a new hidden contest at Wild Noodle.

This contest uses a new web version of Herbert. I hope you like it. 

Some notes on the new Herbert app:

-This is a web app that you should be able to access from any device and most current browsers. We recommend Chrome for the best experience.

-Use your existing Wild Noodle email address to log in. Use your original password for wildnoodle.com.  If you have forgotten your password, use "forgot password" to reset it.

-You may use your social media account to log in, but it must be associated with the email that this message is addressed to; otherwise, you will not be able to access any prior work.

-Once you log in, if you use the email above, you should be able to access your prior contest work using "Switch Contest" on the popup menu (second icon from right). Please note that once you do so, however, you will not be able to switch back to the alpha contest from this menu as this is a hidden contest. You will need to again click the URL above.

-Special note for iPhone users: when you first start to type your program, the phone will "zoom in" to the text area. To zoom out again, "spread" your fingers on the text area or toolbar (not the playing area).

-The contest will start on level 0, a blank level. Click "Next Level" (the icon at far right) to go to level 1. (Note: this will be fixed in the final version).

-We are still polishing the app, especially the layout and formatting on phones. But the basic functionality should all be usable.

Some notes on this contest:

-This is a hidden contest, not available to the general public. If you would like to share it with someone that you feel would give good feedback to us, you are free to forward the link.

-There are 25 levels of varying difficulty.

-Level 1 is a bit harder than usual - feel free to skip this if needed. 

-The contest will end Jan 22 11:59 PM GMT.

-I am pleased to announce there will be prizes for this contest!
